Bringing back Christmas

I must confess that the day after Christmas, I was depressed. I became even MORE depressed when I turned on the radio and there was no more Christmas music to be heard. Now, I realize that Christmas has been over for almost a month now, but I miss it. It is my favorite time of year. So, here is a video that I was introduced to last year. Maybe some of you have seen it...possibly all of you. But, it is wonderful and will hopefully bring back some of your Christmas feelings so I am not all alone.

Sarah this is such a beautiful video. Thanks for sharing. I have seen it before and I cry more tears everytime I see it. We are so blessed. And I miss Christmas time too! I miss everything about it. This year went by WAY TOO FAST, I almost couldn't enjoy it I was so busy with school and work. But that is no excuse, I can't wait for Christmas 09 baby!

Sarah,
Thank you for sharing that video. I had never seen it before and it was wonderful. I am going to check out that site and maybe put that video or one like it on my blog - what a great missionary tool. The fact that you are sad in a wierd way says a lot about you - you are enjoying the present (trying to keep that Christmas spirit) and not always looking to the future for something better. Christmas time can shape a lot of our cherished memories, and I'm sure you're reflecting on that as well. Take heart in your beautiful family and what a great job as a mother you are doing. Keep it up, girl!

We haven't even gotten around to putting up the Christmas tree yet. I started to one weekend and Maria asked if we could keep it up a bit longer because she was enjoying it and said that we didn't have it up very early (we put it up Thanksgiving Day!!!)

That was a neat video and I love the music with it. I am going to add you to my blog if that is okay. Since I always come read from Melinda's anyway.

I just found your blog through Andrea's blog. Very neat video! We will have to make Christmas goodies or something next year.
